Consumer Bill of Rights
preCharge takes your protection very seriously. Due to the onslaught of illegal
activity on the internet, preCharge has established the following member bill of
rights to protect it's consumers and merchants.
- At no time will preCharge contact you via
telephone or mail asking for personal information or account information.
If you require support, please call (877) 751-6213, (212) 751-6213 or email
support@precharge.com, no other
phone numbers or email addresses are authorized to provide preCharge consumer
or merchant support.
Please ensure that when you are requesting support via email that you include
your preCharge merchant or consumer id but at no time send your preCharge
password via email or provide it over the phone or by regular mail.
- At no time will preCharge try to sell you
services or additional products over the phone.
If someone calls you claiming to work with, be authorized by or does
business with preCharge, please report them immediately by calling (877)
751-6213, (212) 751-6213 or email
support@precharge.com. At no time will an authorized preCharge
representative attempt to sell you services over the phone.
- At no time will preCharge claim that you
are required to obtain protection services.
Federal law does not currently mandate that consumers maintain any type of
card protection service or insurance. Federal law does mandate that you are
not responsible for more than $50.00 per credit card and up to $500.00 per
debit card in the event that your identity is stolen. The preCharge system was
designed to be an early warning system attempting to protecting your card
numbers, email address, phone number and billing address from fraud, however,
does not make any claims to be a requirement set by local, state or federal
regulations.
- At no time will preCharge call you claiming
to be or work with your credit card company.
While preCharge is certified through Ambiron under the Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover security programs
and has dully established itself with these
companies to be an authorized merchant, preCharge makes no claims or
representations to work with or be part of the fraud prevention services
offered by these companies.
- At no time will preCharge claim to
represent your bank or card issuer.
While preCharge does attempt to work with banks, gateways and processors, preCharge makes no
claims and offers no representations to be part of or affiliated with any
established banking institution.
- At no time will preCharge ever release your
personal information to outside parties.
preCharge maintains a very strict
privacy policy and will at no time release any information to outside
parties other than when legally required to do so by law or court order.
Consumers Responsibility
- Never give your preCharge account information
or personal information to anyone. If your account is compromised in any way,
report it immediately by calling (877) 751-6213, (212) 751-6213 or email
support@precharge.com
- Ensure that any transactions and/or login
activity processed with preCharge ALWAYS begins with
https://www.precharge.com/. No other domain is authorized to accept
information on behalf of preCharge.
Our Promise To You
- preCharge will always maintain only the most
stable and secure environment technologically available.
- preCharge will always maintain a working
relationship with outside security, legal and business auditors to ensure a
100% compliance and limit any possibility of tampering with network or
business activities.
- In the event that you are ever unhappy with
the preCharge service, preCharge will issue an immediate refund for your
current months service fees and immediately stop any future billing.
